DIMAPUR , September 9: Department of social welfare, Jalukie Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) project organised a block level anemia awareness and screening camp at Heningkunglwa village council hall under Peren district on September 8 with CDPO Jalukie, Namhuheing as resource person.
According to a DIPR report, the objective of the camp was to impart knowledge about anemia among the community and was also organised as part of month-long celebration of Poshan Maah 2021.
During a short programme, child development project officer (CDPO) Jalukie highlighted the action plan, target group, goals and objectives of Rashtriya Poshan Maah, 2021.
In this regard, he sought cooperation from village councils, AWWs and stakeholders in order to ensure the successful implementation of the month-long programme.
Meanwhile in the programme, district programme assistant, PMMVY Peren also gave a brief highlight on Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandhana Yojana (PMMVY). The programme was chaired by supervisor Jalukie, Kalivi Zhimomi.
