Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): Fuel outlets in three districts may shut down as the Petroleum Dealers’ Association of Dimapur, Niuland, and Chümoukedima (PDADNC) has urged all retail outlets of different petroleum companies in these districts to cooperate with the indefinite shutter down called by DCCI from April 26. The Association also urged the public to bear with the inconvenience.

In a press release, the PDADNC has reaffirmed its support to the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s (DCCI) resolution to “protest the unabated multiple taxation, intimidation, summons, and harassment meted out to the business community by the various Naga Political Groups.”

Further maintaining such activities are taking place right “under the nose of the administration and police” but without exemplary action to stop the menace, the Association requested the Government to rein in the situation to avoid further complications.
