PEREN, DECEMBER 16 (MExN): The 24th Children Conference of Zeme Baptist Church Council, Peren was held from December13-15, hosted by Jalukie ‘B’ Baptist Church, with the theme “Growing in Christ” (in the context of Wisdom, Love, Righteousness and Faith) Luke 2:52.
A press release received from ZBCC Education Secretary, Dr. Rangro Herie informed that thousand of delegates from ZBCC churches of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland attended the Conference.
During the conference, the worship speakers include Dr Rangro Herie, Education Secretary, ZBCC, Idolule Putlang, Children Director, New Tesen Baptist Church, Dr Rampaukopoing Michui, Executive Secretary, ZBCC and Rev Dr Mongzeung Mpom, Pastor, Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church.
Workshop speakers include Mental Kelungzaiyile, Women Leader, Jalukie ‘B’ Baptist Church on the topic of Mental Illness and Igwangheing Hemang, NPS, Superintendent of Police, Peren on Substance Abuse.
The pinnacle of the conference was experienced through talent exhibition and music festival where children perform and show cast their God given talents and mesmerized the delegates. The following competitions were also held as follows:
