Dimapur, February 2 (MExN): The United SangtamLikhümPümji (USLP)reiterated its position to aspiring candidates under its jurisdiction, asking them to refrain fromsubmitting nominations for the upcoming assembly election.
On Wednesday, the USLP issued a notification stating that it would uphold the resolution taken during a meeting earlier on January 21 and point four of the resolution— “In the event, any individual under USLP violating the resolution shall be ex-communicated from Sangtam community effectively”— would be enforced on any individual found violating the ENPO’s August 26, 2022 resolution.
All the aspiring candidates are informed to refrain from filing Nominations to contest during the upcoming Nagaland State Assembly Elections till further orders from the ENPO, stated the notification which was issued by USLP joint Secretary YangthsabaSangtam and Vice-President KipitongSangtam.
