3rd session of Shamator District GBs Association held
SHAMATOR, MARCH 11 (MExN): MLA and Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports & Chairman DPDB Shamator, S Keoshu Yimkhiung graced the 3rd session of the Shamator District GBs Association as special guest at Anatongre village under Shamator District.
Speaking on the occasion, the special guest advocated that peace is the only path we take for bringing growth and prosperity to society. If we do not have peace and harmony, achieving political strength, economic stability and cultural growth will be impossible.
He further emphasized that peace and harmony are essential conditions of life and growth of brotherhood district. At the same time, they are the cardinal signs of civilised society. These are the indispensable elements of progress and prosperity of mankind and society.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by S Tochimong, General Secretary SDGBA while a prayer was invoked by Tsinthong, Pastor ABC. Welcome address and keynote address was delivered by Kiusthong, VP and J. Kiumukam, President respectively. Yansumong, HD GB Anatongre; Laji Luyanba, General Secretary YTC; P. Timong, President TTC also delivered short speeches while vote of thanks was proposed by Wongtsukiu, Ex-Chairman. The 3rd session of the Shamator District GBs Association concluded with a benediction prayer by Rebala, Women Pastor Anatongre Baptist Church.
