Kohima, February 5 (MExN): In poll-bound state of Nagaland, the monetary value of the Progressive Seizure made by various enforcement agencies, both Central and State from the date of announcement till February 3 has reached Rs 28,96,37,474 (Twenty eight crore ninety six lakh thirty seven thousand and four hundred seventy four).
The various seized items and amount includes Cash: Rs 24525350; IMLF (40925.65 Litres): Rs 30202492; Drugs/Narcotics (3.06 Kgs): Rs 217717800; other contraband: Rs 289637474; Freebies/other items: Rs 17191832
The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland in a press release informed that as per information received the following seizure were made on February 3, liquor 3464.46 ltrs worth Rs 2271318, drugs/narcotics seized-brown sugar 0.003 kg, SP capsule 78 nos and sunflower (drug) 0.05612 worth Rs 4016850, Freebies and other items worth Rs 1795200 totalling monetary value of Rs 8083368 (eighty lakh eighty three thousand three hundred and sixty eight).
