The bulletin stated that people under 40 years were the most affected. It opined that the recent surge in cases could be due to mobility of young people to workplaces, hanging out with friends, with no regard to 3Ws– wash hands, wear masks, watch distance. The department said that the positivity rate had continuously increased in the last 4-5 weeks.
