DIMAPUR, AUG 11 (NPN) : Nagaland on Tuesday registered 20 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally to 3031 cases– 2032 active, 985 recovered, 8 deaths (1 not due to COVID) and 6 migrated.
According to Health & Family Welfare minister, S. Pangnyu Phom, out of 192 samples that were tested, 10 positive cases were detected in Kohima, 9 in Dimapur and 1 in Tuensang.
As per the severity of symptoms, 2,029 active cases are asymptomatic, 1 mild and 2 moderate.
Further, out of the 3,031 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people include 1,385 cases from the Armed Forces, 1,096 cases of Returnees, 200 cases of Frontline Workers, 296 Traced Contacts and 54 Others.
A total of 29,466 samples were sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 27,759 received. In addition, a total of 19,347 samples were sent for testing on TrueNat.
Currently, 1,984 persons were under facility quarantine.”
