Nagaland has successfully conducted the State Educational Achievement Survey (SEAS) on November 3 for 1643 schools covering classes 3,6 & 9.
The survey was conducted to assess the learning levels of students and overall health of the state education system. The SEAS 2023 was conducted for all the states/UTs in the country.
The survey involved 1810 Field Investigators for conducting the survey.
On November 3, the State level monitoring team was led by Kevileno Angami, Commissioner & Secretary School Education and SCERT, Temsunaro Aier, State Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, Asano Sekhose, Chairman Nagaland Board of Scvhool Education, visited schools in Kohima district to monitor the Survey.
The State team of officials from NBSE, DoSE and Samagra Shiksha were deputed to the districts since 30th October 2023 to monitor and assist the district and block coordinators for SEAS 2023.
The scanning of OMR sheets shall take place in the districts for 36833 students to be completed by November 8.
The final survey report shall be prepared for all the states and UTs by NCERT, New Delhi.
