With only about 40 households prior to the Indo-Naga conflict, Dzüleke has evolved and grown as a village with increasing number of households over the years. Recalling how the first settlers were not the educated, rich or the wealthy but the simple common men, who also took a leap of faith in the village surrounded by deep forest and mountains, the Baptist Church Dzüleke today observed “Kethezie Nyi” (Thanksgiving Celebration) under the theme, “Praise Him for His Mighty Acts” (Psalms 150:2) at Dzüleke, celebrating the journey of their faith and giving thanks to God for His faithfulness.

On celebrating the Thanksgiving, be also posed, “Why exactly are you thanking God?” while asserting that the Thanksgiving Celebration is also a time to retrospect on the how and why. Further putting across that God has worked in different ways, situations and people in Dzüleke village; he cited that it is not only during the good times, but also during fallen moments, grief or sickness. “You have come this far by encouraging and supporting each other and it is my belief that you have also grown spiritually”, he added.
