Sitting MLA from 15 Southern Angami–II Assembly Constituency, Er Zale Neikha today began his election campaign as a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate at Viswema village in Kohima district. Addressing party supporters at Tazwe-o Kita, R Khel, Neikha said he will be contesting on an NCP ticket.
Neikha informed that although he has been denied an NDPP ticket this time, following the seat sharing arrangement between the NDPP and BJP in 15 Southern Angami–II A/C, he decided stay connected with the election fray and to contest as an NCP candidate to serve the people. He won the last 2018 election on NDPP ticket.
He sought the blessings, support and help of the electorates for success in 2023 election, and assured to give his best to carry forward the unfinished tasks and to work for all round development of the people. Further, he called upon the people to work together to emerge victorious in the election.
The programme was chaired by Vitsorel Lcho. Representatives from Z Khel, P Khel, Khuzama, Kezoma, Kezoma Urban Station and Sakhabama also spoke at the function.
