Classes are timed at 6:00 am to 10:00 am to accommodate the schedule of the tutors and students so that they can resume their official work/job on time after the classes are over. Study materials and books are provided to the students besides conducting of regular tests.
On the first day, 28 aspirants joined the class, while the second day saw 30 students availing the free coaching class. Coaching on various departmental exams such as UPSC, NPSC, SSC, CAPF, Bank exams and State level departmental exams is being imparted to the aspirants.
“The students here are very talented but financial constraints and lack of opportunities creates hurdles in their path of success sometimes, hence we decided to provide equal opportunity to all the students here so that they can also excel in their lives and future. An empowered student makes an empowered society,” says Dr Pritpal Kaur.
In 2020, a similar coaching was provided at Tuensang by the Tuensang police and Administration whereby seven students are said to have cleared their NPSC Prelims exam this year and will be appearing for the Mains.
