Kiphire, July 9 (MExN): As an initiative to enhance security and surveillance in Kiphire, the Kiphire Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTCCI) has installed 36 CCTV cameras across various strategic locations in the town. The installation, completed on July 8, was led by KTCCI President Litingse Sangtam.

“This installation is a significant step towards creating a safer environment for our citizens and businesses. We are committed to leveraging technology to ensure the security and well-being of our community,” said Sangtam in a press release. The cameras have been placed in key areas, including commercial zones, public spaces, and other high-traffic locations, to ensure comprehensive surveillance.

“The enhanced surveillance will undoubtedly contribute to a safer and more secure Kiphire,” said the press release from the KCCI. The KTCCI plans to collaborate closely with local authorities to ensure the effective use of these CCTV cameras and to explore further initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in the town. “Our proactive approach demonstrates our dedication to the community’s safety and our commitment to fostering a secure environment conducive to growth and development,” it added.
