Naga youth Nzanthung Ngullie who had gone missing from a little known place called Bagpat in Uttar Pradesh since March 26 amidst the nation wide lock-down has been found in Delhi and is in custody of Delhi Police.
This piece of information was updated to The Naga Republic by Jagdamba Mall, a former Organizing Secretary of Kalyan Ashram Nagaland who is presently a full time BJP worker staying at Gorakhpur, UP. As reported earlier, Jagdamba had written to Avanish Awasthi IAS Addl. Chief Secretary ( Home) Govt. of Uttar Pradesh seeking assistance to trace the missing person.
“ADG Meerut Prashant Kumar informed me just now at 8.30 pm today the 28 March 2020 that the missing Naga person Nzanthung Ngullie from Wokha Nagaland has been found in Delhi and is in custody of Delhi Police and SP Wokha has been informed”, Jagdamba disclosed to The Naga Republic.
“I also informed his mother Smti Vungthunlo immediately and she told me that she had talked her son Nzanthung Ngullie over somebody’s phone. She is in contact with SP Wokha for safe return of her son at the earliest”.
Jagdamba Mall expressed gratitude to the Addl. Chief Secretary ( Home) Govt. of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow for his prompt action and immediate search throughout West UP and Delhi and pointing out that it was because of this “immediate effort Nzanthung Ngullie has been found”.
