Health & Family Welfare Minister, P. Paiwang Konyak along with Commissioner & Secretary H&FW, Principal Director H&FW and host of officials from the Directorate visited Changlangshu PHC under Mon district on November 22.
The Minister is currently on a state-wide tour and had visited Dimapur, Mokokchung, Longleng and Tuensang. On Friday, the visiting team inspected Tobu CHC, Changlangshu CHC and Aboi CC.
During the visit at the health centres, the minister held in-depth discussions on the judicious use of the CMHIS and Ayushman – and also reminded the Medical Officers, nurses and the staff of their commitment to serve the needy people adding that distance should not be an excuse and that they should be in their respective posting.
On November 23, the Minister and his team will inspect the Mon Medical College where construction was in full swing and the District Hospital Mon.
