Tseminyu, October 20 (MExN): Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, MLA & Advisor, NSDMA, N&RE, GoN, underscored the importance of overcoming the trust deficit in Naga society during the inauguration of the Kithagha Village Gate and the Multi-Utility Building at Kithagha and Chunlikha on Saturday.
In his address, he expressed concern over the persistent lack of trust within the Naga community, urging for unity to foster collective progress, stated a press release received here.
Nyuthe extended his congratulations to the people of Kithagha Village for the successful completion of the village gate, and to the Kithagha Service & Pensioners Association (KSPA) and the Kithagha Students’ Union (KSU) for the completion of the multi-utility building. He noted that these developments will greatly benefit both the community and the surrounding areas. He also praised the crowd funding initiative that made these projects possible, stating that this initiative is worthy of emulation by all Nagas, given the financial challenges the state faces.
Nyuthe expressed his concerns about selfishness hampering collective progress, remarking, “We don’t walk what we talk.” He called for a renewed spirit of unity and cooperation, emphasizing that differences must be set aside, as development is only achievable through unity.
He further highlighted that, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Nagaland has experienced a paradigm shift, where meritocracy has emerged as the guiding principle in competitive exams. This shift, he noted, ensures fairness and equal opportunities, inspiring the younger generation to strive for success through hard work and sincerity.
