Chümoukedima, June 19 (MExN): The campaign kick-off programme for Chümoukedima Town Ward 9 NDPP ULB candidate Sekho Thakro was held at Chümoukedima Town.
The programme was addressed by Advisor for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Department, Zhaleo Rio and Minister of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Village Guard, CL John.
In his speech, Sekho Thakro urged the voters of Ward-9 Chümoukedima Town to uphold the trust and confidence in him and work diligently for his victory.
He assured to work in consonance with the ward leaders, elders to bring about all aspects of development and progress for the ward. He also stated if elected he will bring transparency and accountability to his decision and action.
Daniel Khongsai chaired the program while Yhunshenlo, pastor JLB Chümoukedima invoked prayer and Welcome note was pronounced by Ajim Kussen and Benediction was pronounced by Mary Kuki. The programme was held at K4, Chütsolie Colony Ward-9, stated a press release issued by Jacob Sundas, Press & Publicity.
