Blackberrys exclusive outlet in Dimapur gets brand new look

Blackberrys, one of India’s foremost premium clothing brands, has given a fresh new look to it Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in Dimapur. The refurbished outlet, located adjacent to the Clock Tower, was re-launched on June 10 with the MLA and Advisor, Transport & Technical Education, Temjenmenba, doing the honour of cutting the ribbon. Nirdosh Kapil, Vice President (Sales) of Blackberrys was also present. 

As one of the most successful men’s apparel brands in the northeastern region, Temjenmenba said that the re-launch will appeal to a greater demographic.  He said that the store’s new look and new range of clothing, would have the customers spoilt for choice.  

According to him, the store’s proprietor has a good grasp of the Naga people’s choice in clothing, which has had Blackberrys stand out in Nagaland. I hope that they will go from strength to strength. “I am sure the sale will be high from day one,” he said. 

Besides the Dimapur EBO, Blackberrys has another in Kohima, and is present in all the northeastern states. The company’s Sales Vice President, Nirdosh Kapil, said that it has over 400 stores across the country, including but not limited to exclusive brand outlets.  

Started by two brothers— Nikhil and Nitin Mohan, both products of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi, Kapil described Blackberrys as “the fit expert.” 

He said, “We divised our own fit, which is called the ‘India Slim fit.’ The ‘fit’ that we have created makes you look slimmer whatever body type you are.” According to him, the brand looks for what appeals to a demographic in a particular territory. “Accordingly, we provide the merchandise,” he added. 

The company registered annual turnovers of over Rs 1000 cr in the past two fiscals (2022-23 and 2023-24). He tipped the brand’s “touch points,” including online, at nearly 1400.
