Nagaland Page attains milestone of 25 years in journalism

Dimapur, May 29 (MExN): Nagaland Page – a daily English newspaper based in Dimapur, Nagaland will be attaining 25 years on May 29, 2024. Nagaland Page ‘owned, edited and published’ by Monalisa Changkija, started its publication on May 29, 1999.

CM: On the occasion of its Silver Jubilee celebration, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has extended greetings to Nagaland Page, led by its Editor Monalisa Changkija and her team.

“For the last 25 years, Nagaland Page has been one of the pillars of the fourth estate in the State of Nagaland. It is, indeed, a great accomplishment to come this far since running a media house has many challenges. It is a testament to your hard work and dedication,” the CM stated. 

“Since its inception, Nagaland Page has always stood for truth and justice; maintaining the highest standards of journalism. It is my humble prayer that it will continue to strive for integrity, accountability and impartial reporting,” Rio appealed. 

“On this auspicious occasion, I wish the team of Nagaland Page, the very best in all their endeavours. I hope Nagaland Page continues to grow on the path of its vision,” the CM added.

KPC: The Kohima Press Club (KPC) in its greeting said, “Throughout these years, your newspaper has proved to be one of the leading English dailies, with high-quality and reliable news. We travel the world with your newspaper and have experienced life through the penmanship of your writers.”

KPC said that “Nagaland Page has loyally contributed to the growth of our community and state in every sense of the word, and we deeply appreciate your unwavering commitment in being the voice of the people. 25 years is quite a journey in the life of a newspaper but Nagaland Page has pulled it off admirably.”

“Our heartiest congratulations to your devoted team for 25 glorious years of struggles and success in having come this far,” it stated while adding KPC “celebrates with you as you reflect upon the most memorable years, and we look forward to an even more exciting future!”

MPC: Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) in its congratulatory message to Nagaland Page said, “For 25 years, you have been a beacon of truth, a voice for the community, and a reliable source of news and insights. Your dedication to journalistic excellence, led by the editor Monalisa Changkija, has not only informed and inspired the readers but has also strengthened the fabric of our society.”

MPC added, “As you celebrate this remarkable journey, we acknowledge the hard-work and dedication of your talented team-past and present- whose passion for truth and story-telling has shaped Nagaland Page into the respected institution it is today. Your unwavering dedication to upholding the principles of journalism has earned the trust and admiration of your readers.”

“May the next 25 years be filled with continued success, growth and impactful reporting,” MPC conveyed.

DPC: The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) congratulated the Nagaland Page on achieving “the impressive milestone of 25 years in journalism.” 

“The dedication and perseverance of the team led by Monalisa Changkija, a senior journalist and poet, in delivering news with integrity, despite numerous challenges are truly admirable. The Club wishes Changkija and the team, ongoing success and steadfast dedication to informing and inspiring the community for many years ahead,” DPC stated in their message.
