WOKHA, MARCH 21 (MExN): Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) Joint Secretary & in-charge of Wokha and Mokokchung, Watinungsang Jamir visited Wokha on March 20 to oversee the infrastructure development initiated by Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) for promoting the game of cricket under Wokha district.
During his visit at Wokha, the Joint Secretary inspected the Cricket Practice Pitch located at local ground Wokha and interacted with the Wokha District Cricket Association (WDCA) officials and took note of the grievances and future development activities to be undertaken for the promotion of cricket in the district.
Jamir further encouraged the WDCA officials to give more efforts to promote/produce women cricket team as the district has potential in producing women cricket players He also acknowledged the efforts given by the current WDCA officials by undertaking various kind of activities to encourage the youngsters in the field of cricket. Jamir also assured fullest co-operation and support towards the promotion of cricket in the district on behalf of NCA.
