BAN inducts new office bearers and standing committee members

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) marked a significant milestone on November 4 with an oath-taking ceremony held at the BAN Conference Hall, DC Court Junction, Dimapur. Undergoing a substantial restructuring, BAN broadened its operational scope, ushering in a new team of dynamic leaders and members. 

The oath-taking ceremony showcased the commitment of these leaders to take BAN into a new era of growth and development, a press release issued by BAN stated. 

Zubeno Mozhui, convener of the committee tasked with selecting the new office bearers and members outlined the challenging process of identifying and selecting individuals from the pool of talented and experienced BAN members. L Mongkum Jamir, BAN President delivered an address underscoring the rolewhich the committees will play in BAN’s vision, and the importance of theircollective commitment to fostering economic growth in Nagaland.

 

The ceremony introduced the new office bearers and standing committee members, who have taken an oath to uphold BAN’s mission and work toward the organization’s goals. The expansion of BAN’s leadership includes appointment of four new Vice Presidents and the establishment of 19 new standing committees consisting of convenors and over 60 members. The dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Pastor Toshi Longkumer, DABA and the oaths were administered by I Sashi Pongener, Financial Advisor of BAN and Retired DGM SBI.
