TAPI BYE-ELECTION: Scrutiny clears nomination of NDPP, INC candidates

MON, OCTOBER 22 (MExN): The scrutiny of nomination papers received to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly bye-election for 43-AC Tapi, Mon district was held in the Office of the SDO (Civil) and Returning officer, Rongsenmenla on October 21.

A DIPR report stated that the scrutiny process was undertaken in the presence of the General Observer Patibandia Ashok Babu, IAS, and the representatives of both the candidates from the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and Indian National Congress (INC).

 

After scrutiny, the nomination papers of the candidates were found to be correct and were declared qualified to contest the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Bye-Election 2023. 

Another DIPR report stated that the Expenditure Observer, Ashutosh Yadav, IRAS, and Assistant Expenditure Observer held a meeting with Video Surveillance Team, Video Viewing Team, Accounting Team, Flying Squad Team and Static Surveillance Team at DC’s conference hall, Mon on October 21.

Also a meeting was held with General Observer, Patibandia Ashok Babu, IAS, Police Observer, K Pavashnvama, IPS and Expenditure Observer, Ashutosh Yadav, IRAS along with Deputy Commissioner, Mon and Superintendent of Police, Mon and other Nodal Officers of 43-AC Tapi on October 20 at DC’s conference hall, Mon for the upcoming bye-election. The bye-election to the 43-AC Tapi is scheduled on November 7.
