Offers special prayer for peace in Manipur

The Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches (CCCRC) and its members during its golden jubilee celebration from September 8 to 10 made declaration before God and took three solemn pledges.
Communicating the pledge on the last day of the celebration today under the theme ‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ at Multi Purpose Hall, Thenyizu in Phek district, CCCRC Executive Secretary, Rev Z David Koza informed that CCCRC will always believe in the trinity and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
“We shall continue to do missionary work and reach the unreached in every possible ways,” the pledge administered by Rev. Koza stated. It also took pledge “To let every Church have the zeal to send at-least one Missionary or take part in sponsoring Missionaries.”
Later, the congregation offered special prayer for Manipur violence victims. It prayed for peace in Manipur.
Calls all to be part of NCRC Mission Life partner
Speaking at the morning worship service this morning, Rev Dr Imchayanger, Mission Secretary, Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) appealed everyone to be part of the NCRC Mission Life partner. Touching on mission work, he said that NCRC need many missionaries. He said the NCRC has international link for missionary training.
We need missionary teachers, we need missionary doctors, we need gospel missionaries, he said. “Our faith should grow from glory to glory,” he said and asked everyone to live for Jesus. “When you are free from sin, when your sins are forgiven, when punishment of sin removed from you, that is the joy of salvation,” he added.
All Nagaland Christian Revival Churches conference
NCRC President Rev D Vangpong Phom released the CCCRC golden jubilee souvenir.
In his greeting message, he said that the All Nagaland Christian Revival churches conference will take place from December 1 to 3 this year and asked everyone to be part of the conference.
“Our coming together will make understanding each other, knowing each other and we will be working together in fulfilling the Great Commission,” he said.
CCCRC golden jubilee organizing committee chairman Kühusayi Nyekha led the acknowledgment of the dignitaries, invitees, land donors and well wishers at the celebration.
Nagaland CAWD and Taxes Advisor, Kudecho Khamo; MLA Jwenga Seb; ex- Minister Thenucho Tunyi; Chakhesang Public Organization president Vezuhu Keyho; and Chakhesang Mothers’ Association president Zhonelü Tunyi were among the many dignitaries graced the morning worship service on September 10.
The morning worship service was led by CCCRC chairman Rev. Zaseyi Veswiih while Rev. Vekhohii Dawhuo invoked God’s blessings. Pastor Solhou Sono pronounced offertory prayer and Bible reading by Rev. Dr. Khape Ladu, pastor.
Special number was presented by Zenith Band and Jubilee Choir.
‘God is Spirit’
Later, Pastor Victor Ogbe, Christ Embassy Church, Nigeria was speaker at the evening worship service.
Ogbe said that God is spirit and whoever worships Him should worship in truth and spirit.
It is incomplete to be a true Christian without the Holy Spirit, he said adding that “as human beings, the Holy Spirit has its personality. It has emotions, heart, mind, and intelligence which is why the Holy Spirit could perform the affairs of God.”
The service was led by Kevisilie, pastor CRC Bor Lengri while Rev. Ciekhünü Sakhamo, pastor invoked God’s blessings.
Sodzülhou CRC and Chokri Area CRC presented special song. Pastor Khresasüh Keyho led missionary offering prayer and Bible reading by Pastor Müdohü Kezo.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Golden Jubilee organizing committee secretary Dr. Chekhwiiveyi Khüsoh.
