Kohima, April 14 (MExN): The Chetheba block of Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) today conducted a financial inclusion mela in commemoration of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Chetheba Town in Phek district.
Senovielhou Koza, Block Program Manager BMMU Chetheba highlighted the achievements of Self Help Groups under BMMU Chetheba till date. Er Lines Rhi, BDO cum BMM Chetheba encouraged the SHG members to avail the various benefits and opportunities being provided by NSRLM. Er Omegali, EAC, Chetheba encouraged the SHG members to enroll themselves in the financial institutions, which will assist them to avail various government schemes and opportunities. Kuzoto Medeo, Assistant Manager, SBI Chozuba highlighted the credit linkages opportunities and various Social Security Schemes. He also enlightened the participants on banking norms and advantages of online banking.
The programme was followed by spot registration for bank loans and enrollment of SHG members in various Social Security Schemes. 60 SHG members enrolled for the same.
