Zeliang releasing the book titled ‘The Konyaks: Last of the Tattoed Headhunters,’ during the inaugural function of Hornbill Festival on December 1, 2017. Also seen in the picture are the authors of the book Phejin Konyak and Peter Bos. The book documents the tattooing practice of the Konyaks – a once fearsome headhunting tribe of Nagaland in India, well known for their iconic facial and body tattoos.
