Zunheboto monthly DPDB meeting held

Zunheboto, September 12 (MExN): Zunheboto held it monthly DPDB meeting on September 11 at the DC conference hall. Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, DPDB, Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS chaired the meeting.

At the outset the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the winners of the recently concluded inter departmental tournament and thanked all the departments for their cooperation. He also congratulated the District Sports Council Zunheboto (DSCZ) for the successful completion of the tournament.

Agenda was discussed on opening of new GPS at the recently recognized villages i.e Nivishe and Khuniho and upgradation of GMS Tokiye to GHS and upon discussion and on the report from the concerned Department (Education) the board approved and decided to send it the higher authority for approval. Another agenda discussed was creation of new sub center at Koiboto and Phuye new villages and upgradation of Nalto Sub Centre (SC) to Primary Health Center (PHC) and upon discussion, the board agreed for the proposal to be sent to the higher authority for approval soon.

The last agenda discussed was for the celebration of Golden Jubilee of the creation of Zunheboto District which falls in the month of December. On this agenda, the Deputy Commissioner requested everyone to contribute in every way they can so that the celebration would be a grand one. He also advised all department’s to try to display their departments’ achievements and works till date during the celebration.
