‘We have reached the preparatory stage for 2023 elections,’ Dr Vizol

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 15th Southern Angami-11 Assembly Constituency today accorded welcome to Dr Atha Vizol for his induction into NDPP Central Executive Board as Vice President.

In a felicitation programme held here at the residence of Er Zale Neikha, Advisor, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland Dr Atha, an ex-candidate of 15th Southern Angami A/C in 2008 elections, said, “We have reached the preparatory stage for 2023 elections.”

In this, he called upon the party workers to be truthful in their approach and create backbiting free atmosphere within the party. He also stressed on the need to have frequent interaction among the party leaders/workers to build better understanding.

In his address, Er Neikha maintained that a single tree cannot form a forest and called upon the people to work together for expansion of the party.

Stating that there is less presence of the party leaders from both 14th and 15th Southern Angami A/C in the NDPP central executive board, Er Neikha was optimistic that the induction of Dr Atha will go a long way in strengthening the party.

Vizoto Kin, President, NDPP 15th Southern Angami-11 A/C thanked Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, NDPP President Chingwang Konyak and secretary general Abu Metha and others for accommodating Dr. Atha in the NDPP central executive board.

Kevipopi Ltu, Secretary NDPP central executive board and Vichosel Rhiitso, vice president NPF Central Youth Organization also spoke at the progamme.

The programme was chaired by NDPP 15th Southern Angami-11 A/C general secretary Ketosii Rikha.
