Tongpang takes note of bad road condition at Shena Old

Taking note of the bad road condition at Shena Old village, minister of Mechanical and Housing, Tongpang Ozukum assured to take up the issue in the entire Shena Old village and its surrounding villages connecting Atiozu Sub-Division.

A press release by SKK stated that the minister made this remark while speaking as special guest on the third day of the All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) 50th biennial conference at Old Shena.

In this connection, Tongpang also assured to provide all machineries during the road construction work.

Reminding the students community that merely literate was not enough, the minister said that around there are around 68 colleges in Nagaland which produce 6000- 8000 graduates every year.

He therefore encouraged the student community to venture out and compete with others instead of depending on government jobs as government cannot accommodate all the registered unemployed youths in the state.

He further urged the students to not forget their culture, tradition, people and village where ever they venture out.

At the programme, Dr. Hotokhu Chishi (retd director) Health and family Welfare (Dental) spoke on the theme while greetings messages were delivered by NSF president Kegwayhun Tep and AKM president, Nungdokyanger Ao.
