Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): “This is not the time to think what the Church will do for us, but this is the time to think what we can do for the Church,” Samuel Sengupta, Pastor, Atmik Jeevan Church, Bagdora said speaking on day-3 of the ongoing Inter-denomination Spiritual Revival and Blessings Mega crusade at DDSC Stadium Dimapur on Thursday.
The crusade is organised by Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Kohima with the theme ‘Arise, Shine… As the glory of the Lord is risen upon you’ (Isaiah 60:1).
During the service, the speaker Samuel Sengupta delved from the “book of Mark 5 where a demon possessed man was healed,” Koinonia Media Ministry stated in a press release. Citing from the book of James 4: 8 ‘Draw near to God and He will draw near to you’, he stated that “God can do anything in person’s life if we are willing.”
The speaker also told the gathering “not to listen to anything else but the word of God alone which would change the situation and life of person irrespective of any situations they are going through adding that God’s plan is to prosper his believer and not destroy.”
Earlier, special songs were presented by Nagamese Christian Church, Seithekema C and Chanda Sengupta. Shürhozetuo Rutsa shared a testimony about “his freedom from satanic worship and spoke on his 5 years as a satanic worshiper and how his life was completely change after encountering God in his life.” Nangba Konyak from Miracle Healing Prayer Ministry also shared his life changing experience after receiving the blessings of God. Chairman, Men’s Fellowship of Koinonia Baptist Church Khriezovolie Suokhrie, led the service and N Nongothung Ezung, Nagamese Christian Church, Seithekema C said the offertory prayer.
Mention maybe made that on day-two, Pastor Samuel Sengupta along with Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo “delivered prayer towards the sick people where healing took place and many received the blessings.”
Neibalie Kiewhuo, Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church will be the speaker for Friday crusade.
The ongoing mega crusade will continue and run daily at 4:00 pm till December 10.
