Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): Hi Grace Dr Joseph Mar Dionysius, Archbishop of Calcutta Diocese under the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church will undertake ‘Apostolic Visit’ to Nagaland from October 7 to 9. During the visit, Dr Joseph will preside over the second graduation day programme of MGM College, Dimapur. Mohammed Ali Shihab IAS, Secretary Department of Power, Government of Nagaland will be the chief guest.
A press release from the MGM College stated that Dr Joseph is the President of St Thomas Mission Society Dimapur. “As per His Grace’s decision, the society would sponsor 25 Naga Christian students to pursue Engineering (B.Tech and M.Tech) at Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) Bhilai, Chhattisgarh for the current session,” it stated.
For further information, aspirants may contact Fr Dr PS Varghese, Principal, MGM College or interested students along with their parents can also meet Dr Joseph Mar Dionysiyus on October 8 and 9 at MGM College.
Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai.
Students can register their names at MGM College, a sister institution of CCET, Bhilai.
