Kohima, November 20 (MExN): MLA Dr Neisatuo Mero graced the inaugural programme for 15 days skill development training for livelihood opportunities on banana fibre extraction & handicrafts, organised by the Chakhesang Mothers’ Association & DIC Chozuba at Pfutsero on November 16 in partnership with Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre Dimapur.
He advised the trainees to take full advantage of the opportunity in acquiring the skill and technicalities.
Further, he stressed on inculcating hard work, dedication and consistency to be a successful entrepreneur.
He also, highlighted the Nagaland Municipal Bill 2023 recently enacted in the emergent assembly session on 9th November 2023.
He said with the conduct of election to the Municipal and Urban Local Bodies of Nagaland, it will boost and bring about more developments in the state.
The program was chaired by Avevo Tunyi, invocation by Rev. Dr. Kuzhopoyo Tunyi CMCC while the welcome note was given by Pfutsero ward chairman Vekielie Venuh.
Concerns and challenges was shared by president CMA Zhonelü Tunyi.
Skilling & Employability was shared by Cholzo Sophie, General Manager, DIC Chozuba.
The program concluded with the benediction pronounced by Kedowepe Mero.
