DIMAPUR, OCT 8 (NPN) : Core Committee of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) has affirmed that the ongoing protest against the shifting of DC office Dimapur would continue indefinitely.
In a press release, core committee’s media cell said that DC Dimapur, during the meeting with committee members at his chamber on October 8, verbally conveyed that the September 7, 2021 order of the state government had been put on hold.
According to the committee, DC also assured that “no branch/cell would be shifted from the present office.” The committee said it had, however, reiterated that until the state government revoked the order, which was issued by the principal secretary home, through an official notification, the protest “shall continue indefinitely with intense approach.”
Though the state home department had issued a clarification on October 6 and informed that the September 7 order had been kept on hold, a core committee member said an official notification should be out as demanded.
