Seminar for ‘educated unemployed youth’ held

Correspondent MOKOKCHUNG, DEC 10 (NPN): Chuchuyimlang Kaketshir Telongjem under the aegis of the Chuchuyimlang Kaketshir Telongjem Educational Trust organised a seminar for the “educated unemployed youth”

on the theme “owning our future” at Imlang Salang,

Chuchuyimlang with MARCOFED Ltd. chairman & vice-chairman Dr. M Chuba Ao and Dr. Aotoshi as the resource person, here, Thursday.

Delivering his lecture, vice-chairman MARCOFED Ltd and managing trustee Nagaland Gandhi Ashram, Chuchuyimlang, Dr. Aotoshi said that an entrepreneur was one who was willing to risk in starting a new business.

Dr. Aotoshi said that entrepreneurship was all about self-reliance and that it was a noble profession where one was taught to be equipped with moral principles such as passion, dedication, innovation and integrity.

He also said that entrepreneurs were the best global ambassadors of cultural and traditional bridge. However, he cautioned the young aspiring entrepreneurs not to focus on a business venture which was readily available but to focus on originality and to identify with it.

MARCOFED Ltd. chairman, Dr. M Chuba Ao shared about the government and institutions schemes and the support the participants could expect for entrepreneurship.

Earlier, while delivering the welcome note, the Chuchuyimlang village council chairman, Ao Sanen Pongen informed that the seminar was being held to inspire the educated unemployed youth to opt for entrepreneurship, where Chuchuyimlang Kaketshir Telongjem Educational Trust in partnership with the church and the village council would provide interest-free soft loans.

The inaugural function was chaired by APW, CBA, Imsunaro and invocation was said by CBA Pastor, Rev. T Lima while the seminar was moderated by APCE, CBA, Imnasenla. Along with the educated unemployed youth, the participants of the seminar included members of the church, village council, VDB and VDVK Chuchuyimlang.
