Phek, April 19 (MExN): The District Task Force Phek has geared up its activities to contain more spread of COVID-19 cases in the district, with six positive cases being detected in Phek Town within a week time.
The District Task Force Phek has conducted a random sample COVID testing drive on April 17 in and around the Phek town “on the high risk people,” said a press release issued by Kutolu Nakron District Media Officer, NHM Phek. “The sample test was done on the people involved in various commercial activities, Bank staffs and regional taxi drivers which were all tested negative,” it stated.
The drive was carried out by team of personnel from Health Department comprised of Lab-Techs, Data Manager IDSP, Malaria Consultant, District Tuberculosis Officer & District Epidemologist, Police personnel and Dobasis.
The activities will continue on April 19 in Phek town.
