Dimapur, May 20 (MExN): The Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton made a courtesy call on Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow on May 19 and discussed various issues.
Among others, they discussed the ongoing development models of UP as well as the progressive plans for the overall development of the state during Yogi’s second tenure, informed a release from DyCMO.
The keen interest and priority of Yogi in ensuring effective implementation of both central and state schemes has led the State of UP towards progress, it said.
One notable scheme is the promotion of One District One Product (ODOP) with a diversified approach of ODOP Mart, ODOP Helpline, and ODOP Cell to boost rural economy of the State, it maintained. It was informed that UP inaugurating the world’s 4th largest Airport “very soon,” it added.
Meanwhile, as per the release, CM Yogi also assured a visit to Nagaland very soon and expressed hope that a business connect may be fostered between the two states based on mutual needs.
