Set to hold State Executive meeting today

Even as the state BJP leadership issue has been evolving from time to time, the party has reiterated that “the issue has been resolved peacefully” admitting that there had “some misunderstandings from the district set ups in the past.”
State BJP General Secretary (Admn), Khevishe Sema told pressmen during a press conference at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur on April 16, “there is no more issue within the party.”
On the issue of Naga political issue, he expressed confidence that it would be resolved sooner or later by the BJP government.
State Bharatiya Janata Mahilla Morcha, President, Phangnon Konyak maintained that there was “good coordination” between the state and central party leaders and that the central leadership takes into account the concerns of the local issues in the state and issues directives accordingly.
Meanwhile, the state BJP also highlighted some of the achievements and policies of the party at the central government level some of which included the launching of GST, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Campaign, Ayushman Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Triple Talaq Bill, Make in India, National Digital Health Mission, Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, abrogation of Article 370, passage of Farm Bill etc.

The party leaders also informed that the 2nd State BJP Executive meeting 2020-21 would be held on April 17, beginning 8:30 am at IMC Hall, Dimapur. The meeting would be addressed by State BJP President, Temjen Imna Along; Deputy CM, Y. Patton and virtual address by Ajay Jamwal, General Secretary (Org) NE; Nalin Kohli, National Spokesperson & Nagaland Incharge and B.L. Santhosh, National General Secretary (Org).
