DIMAPUR , August 23: Nagaland State Rural Livelihood mission (NSRLM) in collaboration with Common Service Centre (CSC) Mon distributed digital fingerprint morpho devices to NSRLM Self Help Group (B.C Sakhi) on August 13 at Resource Centre DRDA, Mon.
A press release by NSRLM Mon stated that in a keynote address, project director and DMM, M. TemchenLongchar thanked NSRLM staff for their relentless service to the community and CSC team for collaborating with the NSRLM to serve the community better.
Longchar said digital India would empower citizens through online infrastructure and digital technology. He asked BC Sakhi to make best use of the digital morpho devices.
State Program Manager (SPM) CSC, Tongkai also gave a brief introduction of CSC, a programme under Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India.
He also briefed on the uses and advantages of digital fingerprint devices.
Registration and short training were given by the CSC district manager, Methna and team.
The programme was attended by DRDA project officer and deputy project officer and blocks of eight AC-FIs and 13 BC Sakhis.
