Authorities have finally initiated temporary repairs on the old GS Road, below the flyover bridge in Dimapur. In addition, earthworks have been dug-up to make way for the construction of drainage on one side of the road. Previously, this newspaper had highlighted the condition of this particular stretch of road where large puddles were created due to disrepair, causing undue distress for commuters during the rainy season. At the same time, it stands to be seen whether the road would receive full repairs or if these are only temporary measures. (Morung Photo)
