Satakha, January 15 (MExN): G Kaito Aye, Minister of Road and Bridges, Government of Nagaland, graced the 37-U Satakha Range Students’ Union (SRSU) as the special guest at Tukunasa village, Satakha Sub-division on January 14.
The Media Cell, SRSU in a press release stated that the Minister, addressing the student community, emphasised the theme “With Necessary Changes.” He urged the students to be part of social transformation and strive for a bright future, citing the need for change with time. He encouraged students to excel and become shining examples to society, as they are the leaders of tomorrow.
Aye stated that the student community has a vital role in contributing to society and encouraged them to participate in positive transformation. He noted that the student community, being neutral, has the opportunity to unite and reform Satakha, and should not indulge in electoral politics and should always have a clear vision.
The Minister stressed the importance of collective participation in social transformation. He added that being part of the government allows for contributions to the welfare of society, whereas opposition can lead to suffering for the village and community.
Aye urged the Satakha people to seize opportunities and participate in the social upliftment of Satakha.
He assured the student community that he would support competitive aspirants and encouraged them to be proud students and leaders. Aye appealed to the student community to prioritize education and improve enrollment, stating that good enrollment would enable him to bring a college institution to Satakha.
The Minister announced that “a work order has been issued for the construction of blacktopping between Nunumi and Tukunasa Village, which will be completed shortly to enhance road connectivity and the local economy.”
He also said that good road connectivity for Zunheboto District and the Satakha region will enhance the economy in the region.
Ithepu Zhimo, Chairman of Satakha Town Council, addressed a greeting message at the 37th Satakha Range Students Union, urging the students to continue striving for excellence along with the rest of society. He encouraged them to spread positivity and adopt a positive environment in society through appreciation and acknowledgment of public leaders.
