“Nagaland has innumerable avenues to explore for photographers,” viewed Mongsen Phom, member of PCD and a seasoned photographer. “In this manner, we have been going to schools and colleges to educate youngsters about the advantages that photography holds a profession,” he said.
Most students who wish to pursue photography as a professional course go outside the state which is an expensive endeavour. As such, the PCD members reasoned that the establishment of an institute here would cut cost for students as well.
