DIMAPUR, SEP 22 (NPN): A total of 60 COVID-19 positive cases were detected on Tuesday—22 in Kohima, 35 in Dimapur, two in Mon and one in Tuensang—pushing the total number of positive cases in the state to 5,604. According to a health bulletin, out of the 5,604 positive cases, the total recoveries so far stood at 4,491, active cases at 1,072 and 10 deaths.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1,042 active cases are asymptomatic, 28 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate. Further, out of the 5,604 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people include 2,640 cases of Armed Forces/Police, 1,454 cases of returnees, 1,182 cases of traced contacts and 328 cases of frontline workers. A total 523 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
