DIMAPUR, OCT 15 (NPN): Nagaland COVID-19 tally rose to 7492 after 76 new cases were reported from across the state– 38 in Kohima, 15 in Tuensang, 11 in Dimapur, 5 in Mon, 3 each in Peren and Zunheboto and 1 in Mokokchung.
Further, out of 7492 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people include 3395 cases from the armed forces/police, 1586 returnees, 2134 traced contacts and 377 frontline workers.
India’s tally breaches 73-lakh mark: India’s COVID-19 tally to 73.07 lakh with 67,708 new cases in a day, while 63,83,441 people have recuperated on Thursday, Health Ministry stated. The total coronavirus cases mounted to 73,07,097 and the death toll climbed to 1,11,266 with the novel coronavirus virus claiming 680 lives in a span of 24 hours in the country.
