DIMAPUR, SEP 4 (NPN): Nagaland on Friday registered 41 new COVID-19 cases from across the state– 23 in Dimapur, 17 in Kohima and 1 in Phek, taking the tally to 4107 cases.
As per the severity of symptoms, 730 active cases are asymptomatic and 6 mild cases.
Out of 4,107 cases, the distribution across various categories of people include 1740 cases are from the Armed Forces, 1289 returnees, 302 frontline workers and 776 traced contacts.
India tally crosses 40L
India’s COVID caseload hurtled past the 40-lakh mark Friday night, while the total number of recoveries too surged to 31,06,921, according to data from states.
