Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): Nagaland recorded 156 fresh COVID-19 cases and an equal number of recoveries on Saturday, according to updates from the health department.
Of the new cases, Kohima reported 76 cases, Dimapur (35), Phek (15), Kiphire (9), Longleng (7), Zunheboto (7), Mokokchung (4), while Mon, Peren, and Wokha reported 1 case each.
Among the recoveries, 86 cases were reported from Dimapur, 16 each from Mokokchung and Phek, Longleng (16), Kohima (10), Zunheboto (8), Peren (3), and Mon (2).
On the other hand, the state also reported 7 more deaths taking the total fatality count to 338 from 331 on Friday. A total of 12 other deaths were categorised as ‘not COVID related.’
As of May 29, the cumulative tally of infections in the state stood at 21,371 with 15,414 recovered cases and 4,982 active cases. Meanwhile, 625 cases have reportedly migrated to other states.
