Several join ‘Prayer Walk’ in Phek town

A ‘Prayer Walk’ took place today at Phek town as part of the ongoing Naga gathering called “Nurturing Naga Peoplehood” under the theme “Liberating the Naga Spirit” at Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre, Kütsapo village near Phek town.
This ‘Prayer Walk’ started from Phek Town local ground with a prayer by Vezokho Vero, pastor Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre Prüzie (Kohima), and culminated at Phek town clock tower with a mass prayer led by Rev Dr Vezopa Tetseo.
At the ‘Prayer Walk,’ the prayer warriors and public carried placards among the others “Together we can,” “We Are Nagas, Arise and Unite,” “Let Naga Freedom Reign,” “Nagaland For Christ,” “One People, One Nation.” They also displayed Bible verse like Ephesians 4:32- “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you,” Isaiah 1:18- “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall become like wool,” etc.
The organiser, Naga Shisha Hoho (NSH) and Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) had stated that the gathering of “Nurturing Naga Peoplehood” is an opportunity to reflect and strengthen the path to Naga Reconciliation by nurturing Naga Peoplehood and liberating the Naga spirit.
On February 18, the programme will start from 10:00 am onwards. FNR convenor Rev Dr Wati Aier will deliver message on “Liberating the Naga Spirit.” Greetings will be shared by Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister, Nagaland, according to the scheduled programme.
Solidarity messages will be delivered by Naga political groups, state politicians and Naga frontal organizations. Peace & love message by Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations, Israel.
The programme will be chaired by Rev Dr Ellen Konyak Jamir while Rev Alem, Pastor, Ao Baptist Church, Phek will pronounce invocation prayer. Special Song will be presented by The Canticles and Kütsapo village Choir. Bible reading by Thepfuneizo Yhor, Pastor, Angami Baptist Church, Phek and mass prayer, to be led by Rev. Puduhü Khüsoh.
