Kenye calls for improving overall power generation in Nagaland

Nagaland’s Power & Parliamentary Affairs Minister,  KG Kenye had a detailed and thorough deliberation with the senior officers of the power department today at Hotel Japfü, Kohima on various issues confronting the department.

Among others, issues relating to power supply, revenue collection, organisational re-structuring, shortage of workforce and an action plan to improve the overall power generation in the state were discussed during the meeting. 

Kenye sought the co-operation of all the officers, field staffs and all the stakeholders towards this journey to address and revamp the power sector in the state.

While appreciating the department for putting their tireless efforts in the service of the people inspite of various hardship and challenges, the minister urged the department to continue to strive forward and achieve the dream of self sustainable power generating state within the next five years.
