Kohima, April 21 (MExN): The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) held its ninth Soul Ignite camp for Youth and Junior CYE from April 16 to 19 at the Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC), Tsiesema Basa, under the theme, “…save some, by snatching them out of the fire…” (Jude 1:23).

According to a press release from the Koinonia Media Ministry, a total of 218 campers and 46 officials participated in the four-day event. The ministry stated that many campers made personal commitments to Jesus Christ during the camp and experienced “healing, deliverance, and breakthrough.”

Speakers at the camp included Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder Pastor of KBC and Principal of Kohima Bible College; Neibalie, Pastor at KBC; Menuosielie Üsou, Assistant Pastor; Evangelist Ruokuotuo; Evangelist Ketoukholie Semou; and Evangelist Nyamongi Rong.

The camp was led by Evangelist Ketoukholie Semou as Camp Director, with Evangelists Pelekhotuo Rüvieo and Ruokuoneizo Sanchu serving as Assistant Camp Directors. Praise and worship sessions were conducted by the Koinonia Youth praise team.

Campers were grouped into four biblical teams—Daniel (God has judged), Isaiah (Yahweh is salvation), Ezekiel (God will strengthen), and Jeremiah (Yahweh exalts)—as they engaged in a series of sessions on spiritual and contemporary topics. These included sin and repentance, salvation, the role of the Holy Spirit, youth and prayer life, biblical views on culture, and present-day issues such as tattoos, music, gaming, LGBTQ, and morality.

Best Camper awards were presented to Kevisuto Ltu and Akule Nuh (Ezekiel Group); Ruokuoneinuo Semou and Thashalo Kath (Daniel Group); Hithono Yepthomi and Neitsetuonuo Kulnu (Jeremiah Group); and Tol Sema and Ningthoujam (Isaiah Group).
