‘It is about time for Nagas to develop work culture’

Gracing the launching programme of the renovated Vivid Lounge located at PHQ junction Kohima on September 17, Neibalie Rio, Special officer to Chief Minister said that it is about time for Nagas to develop a work culture and venture into business for Nagaland to progress.

Government jobs, he said, has over saturated and so the youth must take up entrepreneurial activities as a means of livelihood and not be 0dependent on the government. Saying that Nagas must do away with the lack of work culture, Rio expressed concern that if the present trend continues, Nagaland would face a financial crisis. 

He also pointed that the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Scheme launched by Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman during her visit to the State would be a game changer.  He advised the youth to avail the loan and begin businesses if they really have the interest. To excel, he said that entrepreneurs must not depend on subsidies or grant-in-aid. He said that hard work is the key to success and there is no shortcut to succeed.

The programme was chaired by Neidilhoutuo Sechü, invocation was pronounced by Angami Women Organization president, Neilhouzono Nagi and special number was presented by Mengu Suokhrie.

The Vivid Lounge is owned by Nekhrie Pfukha.
