DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 9 (MExN): The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized heroin worth Rs 62.58 Crores in Dimapur on December 8. The DRI disclosed this on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle informing that the contraband was seized from a suspect in a Mahindra Bolero. “On thorough rummaging of the vehicle, 17 packets containing heroin weighing 8.94 kg were found concealed inside the front door panel and inside the dashboard. The heroin is worth Rs 62.58 Crore in the illicit international drug market,” the DRI said. It further informed that two persons have been arrested in this connection.
