Kohima, March 18 (MExN): A thanksgiving programme of Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, advisor, New & Renewable Energy and NSDMA, Government of Nagaland was held today at Meluri Local Ground.
Addressing the gathering, Nyuthe reiterated his election campaign stand, by stating that he is there to serve his people and “not to rule.” He appealed for peaceful and cohesive co-existence in the constituency for all round development.
Nyuthe also thanked Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland and Chingwang Konyak, NDPP president for allotting him the party ticket in the last election. He expressed happiness to Chief Minister on the portfolio allotted to him and assured to give his best to serve the electorates of the constituency and Nagas as a whole.
The advisor also thanked the administration, police, polling officials, government officials for the smooth and fair conduct of the election and following all the rules and norms of the ECI.
Nyuthe expressed gratitude to all the electorates who has voted for him in the 14th NLA general election and sought their cooperation even as “we venture in serving our people.”
Tsirhütho, VCC Meluri, Chekhutso, Ex-MLA, Chulekhu, former president Pochury Hoho and Thoza, president, NDPP 20th A/C Women Organisation also spoke at the programme.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Chili Thurr, working president, 20th A/C while vote of thanks was proposed by Virhosie Mizu, General Secretary, NDPP 20th A/C.
